John Graef - University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, USA
Peter Kloeden - University of Tuebingen, Germany
Aim and Scope:
Professor Ravi P. Agarwal has been actively involved in research as well as pedagogical activities for the last 49 years. His major research interests include Numerical Analysis, Differential and Difference Equations, Inequalities, and Fixed Point Theorems. He has published 46 research monographs and more than 1,700 publications (with almost 500 mathematicians from all over the world) in prestigious national and international mathematics journals.
To thank him and to recognize his great contribution a special issue of the Journal dedicated to him will be published.
Topics of interest to the special issue include but are not limited to:
- difference-differential equations
- dynamic equations on time-scale
- q-difference equations
- complex dynamics
- stability theory
- boundary value problems
- symmetries and integrable systems
- numerical analysis
Articles that deal with the applications of difference equations or discrete dynamical systems to any scientific discipline, including but not limited to, various disciplines of mathematical biology, evolutionary game theory, economics, physics, and engineering are also of interest to this special issue.
